Hello people,
I recently got an 87 TA that's been sitting in a garage for about 4 years. So I'm tuning it up and the chokestat isn't working properly, the blue lead going to it shows 12V when unhooked, but as soon as you plug it into the chokestat it loses all power. I go get a new chokestat, put it in and same thing. When the lead is unplugged it gets power just fine, as soon as you plug it in, bye bye 12V. What could be causing this?

Not sure you have a problem? I think the only time the electronic choke would be activated is in the cold weather. It may be too warm now for it to work.
