actually 1997 was, the 350 in 1997 put out 330 hp, the other years put 320

Well about that 1997 ws6 being the best...well ive heard the newer ws6 engines are putting around 400 to the crank. so are u sure 1997 is the best year?

No such thing as a WS6 engine. WS6 is a performance suspension system. If you are talking about the LS1 engine that came in F-bodys, it didn' t come out until 1998. They used the LT1 from 93-97.The last year of the LS1,2002, had the highest hp rating. The LS1 crate engine has 330 hp.
