I was going to swap a 1997 T/A lt1 engine for a ws6 crate motor and I was wondering if I would need a new tranny? It has 125,000 miles on it!

All the trannys in the 4th gen F-bodys are the same. 95TransAmWhip July 2nd, 2006, 10:58 PM its alll the same the only difference is that they put slp on the ws6 like exhaust ram air package hood n shit like that.. just go for the hood and an exhaust w/ headers instead of buynig a new motor.. unless it has a lotta miles then just go big n bore it to a 383 w/ a stroker kit =p |
