ok i have a 93 le 3.1L v6 sunbird and i just had the alternator replaced(brand new) but now when im drive and i come up to a red light my rpm wiht drop to like 400 and then my car starts chugin and dies, but it starts rite back up and this never started happening till after i replaced the alternator.

plz give any adivce u might have, im sick of trying to two foot my way up to my work.

make shure all contions are tight on the alt and the bat has good contions no crostion on the term

check to be sure that no vacum lines or anything got disturbed during the alternator change.check all things that may have been touched
