Hi from a new member in England who owns a LS1 engine from a wrecked 2002 Firebird.
I am having difficulty identifying the engine serial number, even GM Canada seem to be at a loss except for identifying the K to be St. Catherines
Engine number is K94226 etched at front by water neck and K 094 226 etched above oil filter along with VIN derivative 222164123
I assume this to be a serial number identifying its build date.
VIN number 2G2FV22G122164123 identifying it as a 2002 Trans Am built in Canada.
