SilverWS6 January 5th, 2006, 09:28 PM I have had the same problem. I recently bought a 99 TA WS6. It has the same problem. My switch went out. I have had the assembly out but the switch and the motor are one unit. The best advice I can give you is get a Haynes manual for the car. It will step you through the process. 1BADLT-1 January 6th, 2006, 09:54 PM does it make this god-awful noise when u turn the lights off? if so i had the same problem with my 97 WS6 T/A all i did was remove the motor assembly and took it apart to get to the gear inside. i turned the gear 180 degrees so the good teeth were in contact with the motor and havent had a problem since. SilverWS6 January 11th, 2006, 08:56 PM I never thought of that. Thanks for the idea. ootaw/ evil twin May 16th, 2006, 05:26 PM find out what caused the gear to round off in the first place i had the same problem on the passenger side. turns out one of the support arms was binding and the gear rounded again, so now i need to get a new gear. |
