...capice? my brother is thinking getting an LS1 trans am and are they any good? or an 9c1 caprice

I would think the Trans am would be a better car as most 9C-1 caprices will be pretty well warn out by now considering they were mostly used for Fleet service (read COP cars) sure they will have had maintenence but the caprice is a heavier car and really Not a performance car just a good platform for a cop car ..
The LS series engines are one of the best engines GM ever put out so far, the older caprice still would have the old LT1 type engine which was a good engine in it's own right but nothing like the LS series ..
