I have a 1989 Firebird which needs new doors badly. I've found a set for sale but they are listed as being for an 82 - 86. Most other listings for doors seem to say that 82 - 91 is the range for body parts.

My question - would doors that state they are for an 82 - 86 fit on my 89? The seller "thinks" they will, but I just want to double check before I invest.

I cant say for sure, but I've heard over and over again 82-91 Firebird parts are interchangable and same for Camaros. Do a google search and I'm sure you'll find the info your looking for or call a larger body shop in your area, they have a body parts "Bible" that tells all the year and model spreads that interchange.
