Hey guys , new to the site. I have a chance to buy a 93 trans am for $800. It has 70,000 miles and is in great shape, all but where some guy backed into it with a truck and the hitch put a pretty good sized dent in the front part of the hood. So do you think this is a good deal and where would be a good place to find a hood, to put on it. I would like to go ahead and get a ram air hood for it. that is if i choose to buy it.
Thanks Nate

Yeah, it's worth it. It would worth that with a blown engine. I hood will cost you around $100 buck at the wrecking yard. If you're patient you will probably find one the same color.

LoL I am from indiana, But i bought the car. It just seemed like to good of a deal to pass up. I found a hood on ebay that matches but shipping is more than the hood so i think i will just wait . The car is a blast to drive. When you are used to driving a Jeep pushin 35's it is a whole new world when you get into it.

Well the car is done. I paid 800$ for the car its self. Spent 55 for a new front wheel bearing , 65 for a new water pump, 102 for a new ground effect from ebay alreay red to match, and to day i got my hood from ebay for 150 shipped also already red to match. So that is a total of 1172$ for a sweet ass car. I was like a little kid at christmas today when my hood got here and the car was finally complete. Not that anybody cares but i was pretty excited to finally have it all done and lookin good.
