'69 GM Space Saver Spare

I was referred to this site...can someone please tell me if this is the correct Space Saver Spare for a '69 GM car? If you have any pics will you please post. Also, if this has already been covered please tell me where on this site it can be found.

I only found a couple of ID markings on the rim..."HE" and the # "1" near the valve stem.

I am a member of CRG (camaros.org) and I have a '69 camaro. We are looking for information on the space saver spare tire for 1st Gen's. The person that referred me to this site said Pontiac offered the SSS tire as standard issue and that a full size tire was optional.

The information I am searching for is any and all stampings on the tire and on the rim as well as the color/colors of the rim. In addition, any information you can give with regards to the inflation cannister would be helpful as well.

????????Certainly someone must have info on this tire if it was standard issue on a Pontiac or was I mislead?????????

Sounds like they are just as confused as we are. I am communicating with Coker Tire and they are pretty sure they can help. Once I get this information I'll let you know...if you are interested.

Great Find! At least we know this part of it is true. It does not surpise me because the information came from a reliable source. If only I could crawl inside that trunk to get a better look.

thats weird, I had a similar issue when I just tried it, does not fully appear like last night. I would guess it's the book site having a problem or I wonder if they can put a cookie of some sort that interferes with repeated access to the book. After posting this I tried again and it did work. You could try contacting www.poci.org to see if they can help you.
 
looks like its a copyright issue so I wouldn't be able to post it anyway unless I have their permission. Oh well, at least I was able to see it.
